Materials

  • Kartopu, Melange Wool – Color A 100 gr, 80 % Acrylic,20% wool, 170 m, (pink) (0.5 skein)
  • Kartopu, Melange Wool Color B 100 gr, 80 % Acrylic,20% wool, 170 m, (purple) Hook: US Size H-8 (5 mm) 
  • Yarn Needle, Scissors, Measuring Tape

Gauge

  • 10 st X 8 rounds

Sizes

  • This sample is: 24.5” in circumference X 4” in width

Stitch Key

  • Ch = Chain
  • St = Stitch
  •  Dc = Double Crochet
  • Slst = Slip stitch

Notes

  • The pattern is worked in rounds
  • Ch3 does count as st at the beginning of each row
  • You can work this pattern with one color or multiple as you wish- I used two colors
  • If changing colors make sure to have a changing technique and weave your ends in.

Instructions

Color A – Chain 60+1, Sl st to 1st Ch to form a circle

Round 1: Ch 1, sc 1 in 1st st, sc 1 in next and around to end, sl st to 1st st to join round (60).

Round 2: ch 3, dc 1 in next st, dc 1 across to end of round, sl st to 1st st to join round (60).

Round 3: ch 3, dc 1 in next st, go back 2 st and dc 1 in 2nd  last st from prev round, skip 1 st,*[ dc 1 in next 2 st, dc 1 in skipped st]*, repeat from *to* to end of round, sl st to 1st st to join round (60).

Change colors if you wish at any round

Round 4-9: repeat rounds 1-3 and end with a single crochet round


Finishing

Secure, cut your yarn, and weave in the ends.
