This is the X Mix Square for MooglyCal 2025,
Hello, crochet friends! I’m super excited to share my new design, X Mix Square, which is the eighth square in the Moogly CAL 2025.
This cozy little granny square is a vision in beautiful blues!
The two colors of yarn create a lovely ombre effect as it works from the center outward, with those perfect little clusters forming a classic square pattern.
What about the colors?
The darker blue border adds just the right finishing touch, framing the piece like a little window to the ocean.
While this ocean-inspired palette is simply gorgeous, imagine the possibilities with different color combinations!
You could create a sunset feel with reds, oranges and yellows, or celebrate spring with soft pinks, lavenders and mint greens.
For those holiday projects, rich reds and greens would be perfect, and gentle pastels work beautifully for baby blankets.
