Are there any special techniques needed to crochet a hood hat?
Crocheting a hood typically requires no special techniques beyond basic crochet knowledge. You’ll likely use familiar stitches like single, half-double, and double crochets.
However, shaping the hood can involve working in rounds and potentially incorporating shaping techniques like increasing or decreasing,
Not in this case. This is a beginner’s friendly hood crochet pattern.
Some patterns for crocheted hoods might involve adding a lining for additional warmth or finishing touches like fringing or pom-poms.
*We will use one specialty stitch that is explained below ( very easy).
