Let’s get to the Pattern, shall we?

SIZES/FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
26” long 5” wide
Each section is 30” long before braiding
YARN
Deluxe Cygnet Chunky, 100g, 100% Superior Acrylic, 156m , two colors, I used two starnds ( 119 gr)
HOOK & OTHER MATERIALS
● US Size J 10 (6 mm) crochet hook
● Scissors
● Yarn Needle
● Measuring Tape
STITCH KEY
Ch = Chain,
Sc = Single Crochet
Hdc = Half double Crochet
BloHdc = Back loop only Half Double Crochet
Specialty Stitches
Back Loop Only Half Double Crochet stitch: Yo, Insert hook into the next st (but only in the back loop). YO, pull back through that st (3 loops on hook), YO, pull through all 3 loops on hook.
NOTES
- The pattern is worked in rows
- The pattern has three identical parts joined
- Beginning Ch1 does not count as 1st st
- I used two strands, you can use one or a bulky yarn
INSTRUCTIONS
Make three sections – each 30” long
Ch 7
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd st from hook, hdc 1 in next and across to end of row, ch 1 and turn
Row 2: BloHdc 1 in 1st st from hook, blohdc in next and across to end of row, ch 1 and turn
Row 3-40: repeat row 2
Construction
Place three straps as in the photo below, and sew with a yarn needle forming a 3.5” strap.
Braid to end and sew the second end to form a 3.5” strap
Finishing
On each end, sc 1 for a total of 12 stitches, repeat 3 rows
