This is part 5 for the Blossoming Bloom Blanket CAL.
This strip is my contribution to the blanket. I chose this stitch combination and called it Pop-Up Garden
The Blossoming Blanket Pattern is a 53″ x 63″ / 135 x 160 cm size throw blanket.
- The blanket is made out of 12 different strip pattern that are worked on top of each other (no joining or sewing here!). A final border is then worked around the blanket.
- Each section’s instructions is accompanied by step-by-step photo tutorials. Some also have charts and videos for the different stitches featured.
My contribution is a super easy textured strip.

In Row 5 it says “dc 1 in skipped st”; but row 4 has no skipped stitches. Can you explain?
Hey Lara!
You start Row 5 with 1 dc’ then skip the next st, dc 1 in next and come back to dc 1 in skipped st.
Hope this helps
Sandra
