Jasmine Stitch Beanie Pattern: Yes, I went there! 😄
I’ve been wanting to design something cozy and pretty using this stitch for ages, and I’m so happy to finally share the Betty Hat with you.
It’s a free crochet pattern, made for those of you who love a little challenge and enjoy working through textured stitches.
The Jasmine Stitch isn’t the easiest, but it’s so worth it , just look at that texture! I’ll walk you through it step by step, and I hope you’ll fall in love with this beanie just like I did. 💗
The month of July is Snake International month so….
This hat pattern is part of a set. Follow the main post of the CAL event to find the matching hat that will be published by August 20th , 2025

Stitch used for this project!
The Jasmine Stitch is one of those magical crochet stitches that looks way more complicated than it actually is, once you get the hang of it.
It’s made up of puff stitches that join together to create a beautiful star or flower-like texture, which gives your work that extra “wow” factor.
I’ll be honest, it’s a bit tricky at first and definitely not a beginner stitch, but if you love learning new techniques and you’re patient with yourself, you’ll be so proud once it clicks.
In this pattern, we have a video tutorial of the Jasmine stitch worked flat by Helen, and a video tutorial I found ( in Japanese) for the stitch worked for a hat in the round.
I know Japanese? But all you need to do is follow the stitches!to help you master it without pulling your hair out.
