Let’s get to the pattern, shall we? Making a Chunky Wrap
Materials
Yarn Bee True Colors, #6 Super Bulky, 142gr, 100% Acrylic, 76 yards, 70 m , 1 skein (used 50 yards), color Ivory (Color A)
Vogue with love #6 super bulky, color Maroon, 1 skein (Color B)
Vogue with love #6 super bulky, color Blush Pink, 1 skein (Color C)
Hook: US Size N-15(10 mm)
Yarn Needle, Scissors, Measuring Tape
Gauge
- not relevant
Sizes
This sample is: 14” wide and 62” without fringe
Stitch Key
- Ch = Chain
- Sc = Single Crochet
- Dc = Double Crochet
- Hdc = Half Double Crochet
- Tr = Treble Crochet
- St = Stitch
Notes
- This pattern is written in US terms
- The pattern is worked in rows
- Ch3 does count as st at the beginning of each row
- This pattern uses pattern repeats.
- You can work this pattern with one color or multiple as you wish- I used three colors
- If changing colors make sure to have a changing technique and weave your ends in.
- You can decide on the width and length of the scarf by adding chains and rows
- This pattern calls for Chain multiples of 5+3
Instructions
Chain 120 +3
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, Dc1 in each 3 chains,*[ Ch 1, Skip 1, Dc1 in each next 4 chains]* repeat from * to * across to the end of row, Dc in last ch, turn work
Row 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st) Sc in 1st st from hook, *[Ch4, skip next 4 DC, Sc1 in next ch space from prev row]* repeat from * to * across, end with Sc in 3rd ch from turning cj, turn work
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as Dc), Dc 4 in next ch space from prev row, *[Ch 1, Dc 4 In next Ch space]* repeat from * to * across, ens with Dc in last Sc, turn
Rows 2-3 are the repeat pattern for this entire Blanket Wrap
I made 10 repeats changing colors every two repeats 🙂

You can add more repeats to make a wider Wrap
You can also add fringe or tassels – I added Fringe.
