As a crocheter myself, I understand how expensive it can be to afford quality yarns for our projects. It’s no secret that yarn can quickly become an expensive habit, especially if you love working with high-end, luxurious fibers. However, there are some creative ways to save money and make your yarn budget stretch further. Here are a few personal tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way including one of my favorites, upcycling yarn from old projects
Thrift Stores and Garage Sales
One of the easiest ways to get your hands on cheap yarn is to scour your local thrift stores and garage sales. You’d be surprised at how many people donate their unused yarn stashes or sell them at garage sales. Another great way to save money on yarn is to join online destash groups.
