Who is Amber from Bliss This by Amber?
Amazing earings and accessories!
Amber, in her own words
Amber has been crocheting since she was a child. While she’s always designed her own patterns, she finally began writing them down 8 years ago. Her first pattern, Topaz Skirt, is a size-inclusive skirt that can be made to the length and width of your choosing and ranges from toddler to adult sizes. In addition to her various skirt patterns, she is also slightly obsessed with crocheted bags. However, her true passion and love is crocheted earrings. She has well over 50 earring patterns to choose from ranging from easy for beginners all the way to appropriate for intermediate and advanced crocheters.
In addition to writing crochet patterns, Amber has nearly 3 decades experience as an English language instructor and nearly a decade of work as an independently contracted proofreader and editor. With these skills, Amber also offers tech editing and general proofreading for crochet designers and craft bloggers. The written word is powerful, and Amber helps craft your words for the impact and the meaning that you desire.
While she’s kept pretty busy with work, she also has plenty of time to spend with her family in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Amber and her husband, who is originally from Guatemala, have 4 children–2 who are still teens and live at home, 6 grandchildren, 1 adorable Yorkie-mix dog, and 2 fluffy bunnies. They love spending time together, listening to music, barbecuing, watching the kids jump on the trampoline or ride bikes, and playing games. Amber recently taught the older grandchildren how to crochet, and they loved it! Amber loves coffee, mysteries, audiobooks, and bingeing series.
