Tulip Headband: A Free Crochet Pattern for Spring

Tulip crochet headband pattern, this one has my heart.

I wanted to design something that felt light, a little floral, and perfect for spring days (or anytime you want a quick win on your hook!).

It’s an easy, relaxing project that works up fast and makes a lovely gift, too.

I had so much fun playing with texture and keeping it simple, you’ll be stitching this one more than once, I’m sure

Why You’ll Love This Floral Crochet Headband

I designed this tulip crochet headband pattern with spring mornings in mind, ight, fresh, and full of gentle color.

I used 100% cotton yarn because it gives the stitches that lovely clean definition, and it’s soft against the skin (especially nice for something worn close to your face). Plus, cotton holds its shape well, which is great for headbands that need to stay snug without being too tight.

For this version, I chose a soft peach base with warm mustard and a blush pink for the tulips. Doesn’t it feel like a row of little flowers just waking up?

You can absolutely make it your own with any color combo you love, classic reds and greens for a bold tulip garden look, or dreamy pastels for something softer and more romantic.

It’s also a great stash-buster, since you only need small amounts of each color.

And because it’s such a quick project, you might find yourself making a few, one for you, one for a gift, and maybe one in every color of spring!
