Let’s get to the pattern, shall we? Making Quick Crochet Infinity Scarf
Materials
Cascade Yarns Ecological Wool, 100% Undyed Peruvian Highland Wool, 250g; 437m (478 yds), weight # 5, Color 8063, 0.5 skein
Or use any cotton yarn weight # 5 yarn
Find Substitutions HERE
Hook: US Size (7mm)
Yarn Needle, Scissors, Measuring Tape
Gauge
- 8 st X 7 rows ( 4” X 4”)
Sizes
This sample is 9” wide X 60” circumference
Stitch Key
- Ch = Chain
- Sc = Single Crochet
- St = Stitch
- Dc = Double Crochet
- Skip = Skip chain or stitch
- Tr = Treble Crochet
Notes
- This pattern is written in US terms
- Ch 3 at the beginning of the row does count as a stitch
- Ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch
- This pattern is worked in rounds
- You can work this pattern with one color or multiple as you wish.
- Please make a gauge swatch if using a different yarn
Instructions
Ch 120, lay flat and sl st to 1st ch to make a circle
Round 1: Ch1, sc 1 in 1st st from hook, hdc 1 in next st, sc 1 in next st, hdc 1 in next st and so on alternate between sc and hdc to end of round, slst to 1st ch
Round 2+3: ch1, if you finished prev round with sc then hdc in 1st st from prev round, if you finished prev round with sc then hdc this 1st round. You should make the opposite stitches from prev round – this is called the MOSS st
Round 4: Ch 3 ( counts as 1st tr st) I prefer 3 chain to make the work more aligned, tr 1 in next st, tr 1 in next st and around to the end of round, sl st to 3rd ch from ch3
Round 5: Ch1 and sc in 1st st(on top of tr from prev round), sc 1 in next st and around to end of round, Slst to 1st st.
Round 6: Ch 3 ( counts as 1st tr st, tr 1 in next st, tr 1 in next st and around to the end of the round, Sl st to 3rd ch from ch3

Round 8+9: repeat rounds 2+3
Round 10: Ch 3 ( counts as 1st tr st). Tr 1 in next st, tr 1 in next st and around to the end of round, Slst to 3rd ch from ch3
Round 11+12: repeat rounds 2+3
Round 13 – 15: repeat rounds 1-3

Secure your yarn, cut, and weave in.
