About using crochet coasters
How to make crochet coasters stiff?
Several different chemical solutions can be used to firm up and stiffen fabric.
Some common options include using starch, corn starch, or a sugar-based solution.
Another approach is to mix together a 50/50 combination of glue and water, which can also help add body and structure to the fabric.
These chemical treatments work by coating and binding the individual fibers in the fabric, creating a more rigid and stable material.
