Selecting the Right Yarn
I used 100% Acrylic yarn for this sample because that is what I had in the house and could not get cotton yarn.
But choosing the right yarn for a crochet table runner is a fun part of the process!
I always like to think about where I’ll be using the runner, if it’s for everyday use,
I go for something sturdy like cotton because it’s easy to wash and holds its shape well.
If I want a touch of elegance for special occasions, a soft bamboo or linen blend can add a bit of shine and drape. I
also love picking colors that match my mood or the season, and honestly, feeling the yarn in my hands helps me decide if it’s the one. It’s a little detail, but it makes the whole project feel more personal and special!
