About Tapestry Crochet for this Fantastic Scarf pattern

Tapestry crochet is a fun and clever technique where you work with two strands at once, switching colors as you go and hiding the unused yarn inside your stitches.

It creates a nice, thick fabric and keeps the back of your work looking tidy.

For this scarf, we’ll be using two colors and carrying the yarn along part of the way, no constant cutting or endless ends to weave in.

It might take a little extra focus at first, but once you find your rhythm, it’s super soothing and so satisfying to see the pattern come to life

Stitch used for this project!

How do you transfer the movement feeling of a sneaky snake?

We looked everywhere and came across the Slat Stitch in a book and decided to use it!

It is a simple repeat that goes down and around- just like a snake!

So simple yet so much texture- scroll down for a video tutorial!
