Materials

  • 1100% Acrylic, 100gr (2 Skeins), weight #4 yarn, approx 280 yards in pine green and some in white
  • Hook: 5 mm
  • Yarn Needle, Scissors, Measuring Tape

Gauge

  • 12 st X 6 rows ( 4” X 4”)

Sizes

This sample is 6.5” X 53”

Stitch Key

  • Ch = Chain
  • St = Stitch
  • YO = Yarn Over
  • Sc = Single Crochet
  • Dc = Double Crochet

Specialty Stitches

Dc2Tog = 2 double crochet together

Yo, insert hook in st, yo, draw a loop, yo, draw yarn through 2 loops) twice in the same st, yo, draw yarn through 3 loops on the hook.

Dc3Tog = 2 double crochet together

Yo, insert hook in st, yo, draw a loop, yo, draw yarn through 2 loops) three times in the same st, yo, draw yarn through all loops on the hook.

Notes

  • This pattern uses US terminology
  • The pattern is worked in rows
  • Ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as st
  • Ch 3 at the beginning of the row does count as st
  • This pattern uses pattern repeats.
  • You can work this pattern with one color or multiple as you wish- I used two solid colors
  • This pattern uses multiples of 3+2

Instructions

Chain  138+2 using the color green

Row1: Sc 1 in 2nd st from hook, sc 1 in next st and across to end of row, turn (139 st)

Row 2: Ch 3, Dc 1 in same 1st st, skip next 2 st, *dc 3 in next ch, skip next 2 ch,  repeat from * across to last st, dc 2 in last st, turn (139 st)

Row 3: Ch 3, dc 1 in next dc, ch 2, *  Dc3tog worked across next 3 dc, ch 2, repeat from * across to  last 2 st, dc2tog worked across last 2 st, turn (139 st)

Row 4: Ch 3, dc 3 in each ch2 space across, dc 1 last in 3rd ch of turning ch, turn (139 st)

Row 5: Ch 4 (counts as dc+ch)Dc3tog worked across next 3 dc, *ch 2, Dc3tog worked across next 3dc, repeat from * across to turning ch, ch 1, dc1 in 3rd ch  of turning ch, turn (139 st)

Change to color white

Row 6: Ch 3, dc 1 in same 1st st, skip next ch1 space, dc 3 in each ch 2 space across, dc 2 in 3rd ch of turning ch,  turn (139 st)

Change back to the color green

Row 7: Ch 3, skip 1st dc, dc 1 in next dc, ch 2, *  Dc3tog worked across next 3 dc, ch 2, repeat from * across to  last 2 st, dc2tog worked across last 2 st, turn (139 st)

Row 8: Ch 3, dc 3 in each ch2 space across, dc last in 3rd ch of turning ch, turn (139 st)

Row 9: Ch 4 (counts as dc+ch)Dc3tog worked across next 3 dc, *ch 2, Dc3tog worked across next 3dc, repeat from * across to turning ch, ch 1, dc1 in 3rd ch  of turning ch, turn (139 st)

Finishing

Join to form an infinity scarf using the tapestry needle

Cut your yarn and weave in the ends.
