Who is Malena – Straight Hooked?
Ok, these winter cozy crochet pieces are just in time for the next season!
Malena in her own words
Malena Straight has been crocheting for over 20 years and designing patterns professionally for 6. She specializes in Fashionable Designs for the Modern Trendsetter. Her mission is to create easy to follow patterns that give you an end result that looks complicated and will always have you receiving compliments each time you are out and about. Most of her designs are fashion accessories, however she can’t resist the occasional home decor design.
Malena is an empty nester and resides in Colorado with her husband and ShihPoo, Ruby Sue (whom you can find on instagram @rubysueshihpoo). Her daughter is in her early 20s and also designs the occasional amigurumi crochet pattern, though she does have an active social life so her designs are a rare treat. They are available at Straight Hooked as well.
All of Malena’s patterns are available exclusively on her website. She also provides stitch tutorial videos on her Rumble channel.
