Who doesn’t love a cozy pair of socks?
When curling up with a good book or adding a handmade touch to your wardrobe, these simple toe-up crochet socks are a joy to make.
They’re worked from the toe up, so you can easily customize the length and fit. Plus, the back-loop ribbing cuff gives them a stretchy, snug finish without being tight.
This pattern works beautifully with DK-weight yarn and a 4 mm hook, but you can adjust it for other yarns too. I’ll also show you size adjustments for Small, Medium, and Large feet.

Make Them Your Own with Any Yarn
One of the best things about this pattern is how flexible it is.
While I used a soft wool-nylon blend, you can really play with different yarns to change the feel and look of your socks.
Want them extra cozy? Try a fluffy wool or alpaca blend.
Looking for a fun pop of color? Use a hand-dyed or variegated yarn.
Just remember: if your yarn is thicker or thinner than the sample, adjust your hook size and keep an eye on the fit and your feet will thank you!

Notes

- The Socks are worked toe-up in joined rounds, then finished with a perpendicular ribbed cuff.
- Each round is closed with a slip stitch.
- Ch 1 at the beginning of rounds does not count as a stitch.
- Sizing is adjusted by foot length (number of rounds) rather than stitch count.
