Let’s be real for a second ok?
Sometimes your workspace just doesn’t match the creative energy you have inside. Even though my room is filled with yarn, my actual desk was looking a bit plain and, well, uninspiring!
I realized that if I’m going to spend hours here designing and filming, I want it to feel like a sanctuary.
So, I decided to give my desk a “handmade hug.” I’m moving the clutter out and bringing the crochet in, and I’d love for you to come along on this little decorating journey with me!
Finding My New Aesthetic
I decided to play with some colors I don’t usually reach for: a vintage peach and a cool lilac, and let me tell you, it was exactly the refresh I needed!
I didn’t follow a strict plan; I just followed my intuition, adding a pop of sage green when things felt a bit too “purpley.”
From adapting a block stitch for a custom keyboard mat to repurposing an old tomato paste jar into a cute plant home, it was all about making the space mine.
It’s amazing how a few small, intentional pieces can completely change how you feel when you sit down to work.
